DIIMS is a network-based system that allows the GNWT to create, save, access, protect, search, collaborate and manage government records efficiently.
This session provides introductory training for DIIMS users on how to use commonly used functions and features. At the end of the session, participants will know:
- How to navigate and find their way around the system
- How to add, save, edit and delete electronic information from DIIMS
- How to search for and find information
- Where to go for DIIMS support and resources
DIIMS End User Training is intended for employees in departments which have been implemented on DIIMS (ENR, ITI, Lands, EIA/DAAIR, Finance, INF, Justice, MACA, NWT Housing Corp, and the Legislative Assembly).
Pre-Requisites: Contact your Records Coordinator for DIIMS access and information on records management training and resources available within your department. Participants must have knowledge of their department’s records management filing structure and practices and have contacted their departmental Records Coordinator to have a DIIMS account created prior to training.
