There are two parts to Elements of instruction that must be completed to receive the complete credential: the theory section and the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW).

Planning what to teach, how to teach, and how to assess; writing learning objectives; choosing teaching strategies and resources; giving and receiving feedback; practice and participation in lesson planning and delivery. The Instructional Skills Workshop forms the core of this course, and a certificate of completion will be presented after course requirements have been met.
