So you feel like you have a handle on your Self-Perception and would like to enhance your Self-Expression skills?  Welcome to the second workshop in Momentum’s EQ-1 2.0 series, Self-Expression. Self-Expression is not your typical communication skills training. It focuses on three primary areas:

1. Emotional expression
Openly expressing ones feelings verbally or non-verbally.
2. Assertiveness
Communicating feelings, beliefs and thoughts openly, and defending personal rights and values in a socially acceptable, non-offensive, and non-destructive manner.
3. Independence
The ability to be self-directed and free from emotional dependency on others.

The main objective of this training is not necessarily to increase your skills in all three areas but to evaluate how they are occurring in your life and if those skills are helpful or hurtful. Once we identify how those three sub-sets of self-expression are occurring for you, we will begin to develop a personalized development plan to encourage and equip you to modify those areas as you determine most helpful with guidance and support from an EQ-certified facilitator.
