Seeing people in terms of their potential also means thinking about people as individuals. We all have our own unique personality, talents and needs. Not everyone is going to be best-suited for the same tasks.
As coaches, we should think about what things our employees are best suited to. Maybe Emily is a good communicator, but needs help with organization. Ian is great with computers, but requires very few interruptions in order to be effective.
