In addition to the guide above, a 30-Day Check-in Questionnaire as well as a 60-Day Check-in Questionnaire have been developed to complete with your employee at these benchmark dates.

The New Manager’s Guide to Onboarding provides new Managers with a guide to assist you during the first months of your new role and walks you through the important steps and training that you need to complete and will provide you with information about working for the GNWT.

There is also the Onboarding Training for Managers online self-study course. This course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is designed to assist managers in understanding what onboarding is, its value, who needs it, typical timelines for onboarding, and an online demonstration. You can register for this course through navigating to the Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) system by clicking on the Learning Tile in SAM/HRIS (PeopleSoft) Employee Self Service.
